as far as what i like? duvel and hoegaarden for day to day (its easy and cheap to get a case of either) but if i am "out" ill get something from affligem or westmalle. chimay is good, but too expensive to drink on a regular basis (for my income level...) i have recently heard great things about westvleteren and next time i am out ill grab a bottle or three.

all told, i have yet to taste a belgian ale or trappist brew that i havent enjoyed. how about you? any recommendations? if i can find it around philadelphia, ill seek it, buy it and drink it images/smilies/thumbsup.gif
i don't think you say it right,
http://www.duvel.be/pages/Main.aspx?...nce/commercial
click on TV spots, and then the second one. at then end they say (with a long voice) "duvel, a world on his own" but in dutch, you should be able to hear them say duvel.
and i must say you have great taste images/smilies/thumbsup.gif, but you should try to look out for rochefort, number 10 if possible, very good!
and leffe is another tasty regular beer

that's a cool site!

here you can see some glasses as well. every beer has his own type of glass of which to drink it from
http://www.truebeer.com/index.asp?Pa...ATS&Category=4

one of the oddest isn't on the site though. the beer is called "kwak", related to the glass
http://bierglazenhuis.com/Images/Glazen/Kwak1.jpg

it's kinda obvious why it's called "kwak". if you don't drink slow enough, the beer in the lower boll, splashes in your face

(if you order a beer like this in a bar, you have to give in a shoe so you wouldn't take the glass home images/smilies/lol.gif )

I've walked passed this Jensen Interceptor a couple of times. It looks a bit mistreated, dull paint and missing right sidemirror. It doesn't have licence plates either, so it seems it's parked on the streets until the owner decides what to do with it. Hope he gets it inside before the snow falls.

When did this become beer post? Hahaha! images/smilies/lol.gif

I have tons of photos from the Belgian GP, I can't be stuffed to post them right now... Girls, Fosters Girls, cars, Porsche GT3 Cup cars, F1 cars, GP2 racers, super cars in the car park... Should I post them?

Seen two (!!) 612 Scagliettis in 3 days - one dark blue (Italian plates) and one red (Slovenian plates). Unfortunately, they were too fast for me and my phone camera images/smilies/sad.gif

The car is huge. Doesn't look like a Ferrari. Looks better. Much more serious ... More of a bussines car than a toy.

I've seen it in Brussels in black and it is magnificent. I don't care if Jezza says the 612 is ugly, I think it is one of the most beautiful cars on the market right now!

I saw a F430 today too......it was a silver one. But the guy behind the wheel was not that friendly though, he honked me to run a red light!! Like I'm not as rich as he is, I don't have the money to pay for the violation ticket!! images/smilies/thumbdown.gif
