Some 1930's Mercedes

I believe this maybe a 1939 540-k or a close relative, I'm not precisely sure. Anywho I spotted it coming out of a crappy antique store and snapped a quick pic with my camera phone, Enjoy.

Cool spot, if it's genuine. They make kit cars out of those though, so it may be a replica.

Could be a kit car, I don't know, as for the parking spot there really isn't much of a parking lot in front of the place so parking spaces are at a premium around there.

That's definitely a replica from the 1970s or 1980s - just take a look at the wheels, they're small and wide and therefore the opposite of what was common in the 1930s.

I was just thinking that. Also the windscreen wipers are off-the-shelf black, not the chrome that was used on cars of the 30s. Also, I don't think those are period headlight prisms.

It also doesn't have the spare wheel on the side. And the grill is different.
