I took some pictures for a friend of mines two BMWs

1. E30 "325e" 2.7 litre m20b27, head from a m20b25, it's pretty feisty... and very mint e30.

2. 1982 e21 323i, with a m20b25 from a e30 325i, also a very fun car to drive, next upgrade is some BBS rims he's aquired for it.

They're both lovely minus the rims, but why the double exhausts? images/smilies/sad.gif

Ugh, I'm glad that the e21 is getting a set of BBS's under it (it deserves and really needs them), cause those that it's running on in the photos, are pretty cheap looking and over here, you mainly see those under corollas and civics... But other than that, nice bimmers, especially that E30.

yeah, i agree, i see those rims on Civics and Mazda 626's, his plan was always BBS, as it's got the BBS front spoiler, but they're hard to find at a good price, and he finally found some he was lookign for, silver center instead of gold, the rims on the picture will be used for winter tires :p

1991 BMW 318is - chassis has about 160k on it

Motor started life as 2.5 liter inline-6 that came in the 1992-1995 BMW 3 series. After my filthy hands touched it became something else =)

Now its a 2.8 liter inline-6 similar to the one found in the 1996-1999 328i/is however mine has a slight overbore (84.5mm pistons) and BMW M3 cams (1995 M3).

A summarized spec of the motor:

1995 M50 Block and Head
1996 M52 Crank, Rods, Pistons
1995 S50 Cams
Gripforce 16.5lb Light Flywheel
