Rep Power: 14 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | How these were worked out: 72 episodes are confirmed from http://ftvdb.bfi.org.uk/sift/series/30228 as are all 8 series start and end dates. Wikipedia says there were 80 episodes in total. One of the presenters, Mike Brewer, portfolio says the show ran for over 100 episodes. An e-mail to Channel 4 hasn't helped much either, their figure is 182. Assuming each series ran with 1 episode each week for the duration of it's run, I can see where 29 additional episodes would slot in. That brings the total to 101. There were also a couple of special programmes from Le Mans in 2001 branded under the Driven banner but this only adds around 5 episodes. Still short of the 182 Ch.4 reckon, which I think must include repeat showings. Therefore I'm inclined to just 'fill in the gaps' where they appear obvious as I don't think Channel 4 would have not run the series continuously - they rarely have any sport to displace it and the series are in Spring and Autumn/Winter well away from Big Brother in the Summer. |
