I really like that. It's certainly better looking than any Punto they've ever made.

FIAT, kill the Punto, hire this dude and re-introduce the 127 badge. You can have the strapline for free.

"The Fiat 127 - Nostalgia is now even better than it used to be!"

I think the designer did a brilliant job of making a modern interpretation.

My dad has had 4 Fiat 127's and it was the first car I regularly drove so this wakes a lot of nostalgia. The best I can say about the original is that it certainly had personality compared to the polished and perfected cars we get now.

Not a big fan of the front, but everything else I like.

Yes...the Yugo shall rise again....

Wow. someone's looking at the world through shit-tinted spectacles! Who took the jam out of your doughnut?

Aww, I just wasn't being serious. Actually I think this is a terrific bit of design, and while I'm not always one for these 'modern interpretations' I think this is the best one since that re-imagined Renault 5 that appeared a while back.

I love the design, especially the rear with the rectangular lights and the shape of the bumper that hints at the old chrome bumper. It's not small, which is slightly worrying, but Wikipedia tells me that the original 127 was as big as the currently Panda anyway.

I'd certainly be interested if it was ever built.

They have to make the rear bumper bigger I think. I believe it has to be the rearmost point of any car for crash regs, and currently it isn't.

Yeah, Renault should ditch the crappy looking Clio and build that instead.

It just is. Get over it, fanboi. :tease:

The front could use some tweaking, particularly around the headlights. The rest I like as it is. Nice work

I think that the Grande Punto in its original form was a handsome little car, it looked like a mini Maserati.

Curses, I'd forgotten that one. Good point.

I find it funny he's done the renders in Keyshot, which means he's probably very low budget. All the same, I think it's fantastic.

Fanboy or not, we have to give them credit. Ok, the Mk1 and the Evo are nothing to write home about, but the original Grande Punto and the Mk2 are handsome. My Mk2 still doesn't look outdated and the GP is really neat. :)

Quite satifsying.

This 127 I'm not too sure about. Never really like the original or the spinoffs from Kragujevac....not getting a vibe from this either. It's that back end, it's just so odd.

Meh, modern design of vanilla cars leaves me pretty cold. That's why I love these retro updates. Time was when manufacturers had a signature style rather than just a corporate nose.

I just realised it's got elements of the old Strada in there as well. They really should build this. Or something very like it.

Well, that IS more of a global problem. Safety, fuel efficiency, etc...hence "corporate noses" and repeated styling fetures.

Didn't like the Strada as well. They just look so awkward. Maybe if I were born before they were made, I'd appreciate them, but looking at them from 2013 is just weird to me.

This gorgeous Abarth version would like you kindly to shut your whore mouth.

Give me that over a MiTo or Guilietta any day of the week.

Dunno, tough one for me. I appreciate both for their Italian-ness, but I'll go Giulietta. that thing
