Autoblog: Mercedes offering illuminated Three-Pointed Star logo

Just remembered someone mentioning you can get this from your local Ford dealer...

The Wolseley lights are fantastic, just a shame you so rarely see Wolseleys at night now.
A combo of Lucas electronics and 40 year old lighting systems in general means they are a tad less garish than modern offerings.

I'll take a mitsu one please :p
to destroy of course
Honestly with the amount of ricers around in eclipses and the like, I'd be surprised such a thing didn't exist

BMW started angel eyes.
Audi LED running lights.
Merc this.

I wonder what Lexus are gonna bring to the market?

Stupid and pointless. Mercedes-Benz used to be a classy brand.
This will only appeal to posers and cocks. But I suppose that's their target audience now.

Holographic "L" logos that float in front of the car.

Not sure I want the "L" sign floating in front of my car :p

Ford should have that, seeing as they originally offered it in the mid-Sixties:

But knowing Mercedes, they will claim that they are the first manufacturer to offer an illuminated emblem, just as they claim to be the first manufacturer to offer ABS, air bags, and the four-door coup?.

The clear 'Lexus lights' were a big craze among the Barry Boys for ages.

Funny then that the following Lexus IS didn't have them.

They did weird shit with the RX, though...red, then smokey silver...
