Awesome Thread... [Automotive Edition]

that's what I call hot header...

For quite a few years, I had an FB RX-7 autocrosser. The header would get so hot that you could see the flow from the exhaust pulses at idle. It wasn't that it was translucent, but the constant temperature changes in the metal showed the movement - kinda like lava flow... should have taken a video.

Someone posted an evolution of the 911 a while ago in the 911 Porn thread. Just found a 3er evolution by the same people. Reposting the 911 for good measure, and because its awesome.

Some majestic as fuck Ruxton Model Cs. That paint scheme was actually a factory option.

Imagine what level of scream it'd been in ye olde "plain burgundy" days. Also thoose spotlights are strong pornography <3

I had similar thing displayed on family Frontera's header, after a hot day in city jamms. Turbo diesels ('specially low displacement-ones) tend to output tremendous heat in usual conditions.

But the effect of pulsing is art-like.

Cool Agera POV.

Also, Porsche now apparently builds the Panamera GT3 RS.

That Panamera:|

This video is full of win. The others aswell. Cool!

That video is intense.

Not entirely. I prefer videos where there are no spectators being hit. The accident of the 206 at 3:12 happened 11 years ago at Bohemia Rallye - the car injured 3 people, of which a then-12-year old girl barely made it.

This is true. Made me say WTF out loud.

Hatchback, not wagon. Now it'll look even more like an ironed Cayenne.

Oh God, why?
Oh, right. Money.
