Ah good, now you have something to put between your pneumatic jack and suspension.

I'm looking for a stereo head for my car. The tape deck thing I had for my iPod crapped out at the beginning of the summer and my FM transmitter just flatout sucks. This way, I'll have a more permanent solution that can last. I want one with an AUX port rather than an iPod interface so I can use streaming radio from my phone as well. suggestions?

I got a Pioneer DEH-2200UB that features front side USB and AUX in. I can highly recommend it.

Love the color, not big on the black bumpers :L
Still, very, very nice for a first car, good mileage too (i suppose lol).

My Alpine does both AUX and iPod. It also does USB, as do most midrange car stereos from the leading brands I investigated.

Alpine FTMFW.

I've heard some bad things about newer Alpine units. I really wanted one in my Accord, but after four or five salesmen didn't recommend them to me, at various stores, I ended up buying a Pioneer similar to the one above.

So I went to Best Buy and took the plunge. I got a Pioneer DEH-3300UB. Pic:

(BOSTON GUYS: Don't worry, I NEVER IN MY LIFE would willingly listen to that horrid station)
