    Yep, I drive a Volvo.

It's a 2003 model, had 143 000km on the clock when I bought it a couple of weeks ago and in my opinion it has one of the coolest engines Volvo has made yet. The 2.0T in this version of the S40 has 160hp and 230Nm. It can be chiptuned to over 200hp and ~330Nm, but one thing at a time.. Even in this form it pulls like hell: while cruising Finnish country roads you don't even have to change gear to pass that slower car coming towards you tail first. It has everything needed: cruise control, A/C, almost-leather-seats and most importantly it's a manual and has no driving aids except for ABS brakes. The summer tires are in quite a good shape and the dealer is giving me brand new studded tires once they get the rims from the previous owner.

Other things I've done to it so far are removing the hideous VOLVO CODE stickers from the rear windows and adding a Grom Audio USB-kit to the original head unit. It now has a cassette player, CD player, USB/MP3 player and bluetooth. Nice. I still need to override the automatic antenna before winter and buy roof racks. I'm also thinking of debadging it, but I'm not yet sure whether I should.

I know, it's a Volvo so it understeers too easily (I can vouch for that!), but I still love it. It gives me a smile every time I see it standing outside and it's a huge fun to drive

    Now for some pics:

Sorry, minor technical difficulties. Now they should be there

And now, as I have under 5 posts, the original post with the images is waiting to be accepted. Bear with me!

I assume you're talking about the cooling system. It has a good radiator?

Actually, unless you absolutely floor it with high revs, the torque steer is quite restrained. While cruising, it behaves nicely.

Why, out of all the colours in the world, did you go for that one? Apart from that though, not too bad of a Volvo, needs a T5 though .

My only limitations are that a car cannot be colored in any shade of red, unless it's a Ferrari. This just needs getting used to, I don't find it so shocking anymore

And it's not like the dealer had these available in every color on the palette..

Personally I prefer the other Volvo yellow, the mango shade of sorts. But the BBS:s look fine on it.

                      My Volvo doesn't understeer

Though, i do like that S40, they're quite sleeper like, if with a good engine, people don't expect it to actually have something under the hood.

Being in Finland, you've prolly seen the bunch that's converted to RWD used in rally, those look fun too

You guys are so superficial I kinda like the colour, it's so different from the other dark green and grey S40s you see here. (Them and those red french cars)

If you ever upgrade from the wheels, I'm happy to take them off your hands. They fit straight onto the Sapporo, even the centre hole is 1:1.

Thanks, but I think I'll be keeping these for now. Like them myself also

When I bought the car, the dealer agreed to change all the brake pads and discs and also align the wheels as the steering wheel thought we were going a bit left all the time.

Nope, still don't understand how it's done.

I know the offset is different and it's only 4 lugs, but this thing will look good with some Pegs.

I actually like this color . Of course it wouldn't be my first choice for a Volvo, but its still not terrible.
