I thought the Mk2 wagon was a Mk1 with a Mk2 front welded on anyway. Just like many other Fords even into the 90's.

Or is it different from a legal standpoint?
 
Legally, it's not important. It's just not the car that came from the factory, but a conversion.

Also, put the rear axle in. Front one did not fit, will have to be swapped from donor wagon.
