1968 Cadillac Eldorado - seems to have seen better days:

Quite a few interesting oddities in this one - outside a tuner/hotrod shop, among other things, is a modified last-gen Ranchero, Porsche 914, chopped up CRV:

This used to be the Ruf (yes, of Yellowbird fame) Auto Center of Dallas, fully authorized extension of Ruf of Germany. Apparently there was some sort of falling out or legal troubles (I'm not at all clear on it) and now it's "RAC Automotive." They still have quite a lot of interesting things there at times.

Including this rarity - a first generation Honda Civic that rust hasn't completely eaten yet - but it's working on it, see the bumpers and tailgate.

Also had this beautiful example of a 6th generation ford F-truck, a rather unusual crew cab version:

Someone actually bought a Suzuki Esteem wagon! (Why they bought it, I have no idea...)

And then this jewel - a 1992 BMW E36 318i manual the current owner bought when it was 6 months old and had just 3000 miles on it. I swear this thing looked absolutely perfect, like it had just rolled off the showroom floor.

Once again a Lamborghini Hurac?n, this time the numberplate suggests it's an LP610-4 with some mods...

...and a Tesla Roadster, the writing on the back says "100% wholemeal 100% e-mobil", on the sides it had the name of a bakery which apparently makes organic bread as in "no GMO etc.".

Wowzers, I thought you US guys only got the sixes in these cars, never realised you also got the low budget-inline four's.

The 318i's 1.8 was the smallest BMW engine we got after 1977 - the E21 sold here only had the 2.0L four, the E30 had this same 1.8L mill as the base engine; we never got the smaller BMW fours. The US market E46 dropped four cylinders entirely. Four bangers would not return to the US market until 2013's revision of the F30. Even then, we still got the 2.0L four (in gas and diesel) and nothing smaller.

Nothing says 'tis the season like an HJ60 Landcruiser diesel with a decade worth of moss and patina on it. And terminal rust in visible places.

It's parked behind a defunct bakery in my home village. The sticker on the rear fender advertises "local bread".

Apparently my local Sheriff's Office either still has or bought back one of their old LTDs...

Probably a 1.9 Diesel, what else.

If I drove that much, I would want a change of scenery every once in a while. Most I've ever done in the same car is 100,000 km.

What a bizarre commute this morning.

Maybach
Isuzu Vehicross (usually see this once a week or so on my commute, so not that unusual)
1st gen Honda Insight
Tesla Model 3
Pontiac G6 coupe, with what LOOKED like a GTX package...but didn't get a good enough look at it to recognize if it was genuine.
Tesla Model S with the kids sitting backwards in the back row, looking out the window. I know it's been an option since launch, and Ive seen these empty seats with a car was parked with the hatch open, but I've never actually seen passengers back there in a vehicle, much less in motion.
Geo Metro convertible

That's like 46k miles a year. That's a lot, but not a crazy amount.

To be honest, that's 74.000 kilometers, that's a ton for any european, and to be honest, even US-american, I'd say...? And barely anyone has the will to do 1 million miles in just one car... :)

It's an amazing of mileage for sure. It would require him to drive an average of 126 miles (203 kilometers) a day. Like I said, not a lot, but it does add up for sure.

I know a guy that has a delivery route, 5 days a week he leaves from Springfield, Missouri, drives to Wichita, Kansas, collects his payload (prescription drugs) and then stops at small towns on the way back dropping the drugs at drug stores. His route is easily 500 miles a day, so that's 2500 miles in a week. However, he's a bit odd and tends to drive older vehicles with carbs rather than EFI. Did I mention he might be a few bricks shy of a load?

Is he one of the people who thinks EFI is just unreliable and breaks all the time? :)

Something horrible that I thought had finally gone extinct in the US - a Mitsubishi Wagon. No, really, that's what this was called over here. This one appeared to be in excellent cosmetic shape and the van had plates indicating the owner was a decorated US veteran. While I thank him for his service, his automotive taste is, er, questionable. :p

A demonstrably running W140 short wheelbase in reasonably good shape. Not without its problems - the headlight wipers are just f**ked and the rear fender top "parking assist antenna" on the driver's side no longer retracts completely.

Possibly the only good one of these ever sold here - or someone dumped cubic meters of money into it to keep it in this shape.

Someone spent $75,000 (at a minimum, but it's more likely over 100K with options) on a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited converted to be a pickup - the AEV Brute Double Cab:
