Random Thoughts....

I got a new job!

I got a new job!

So, I've been jobless since returning from Europe about 1.5 months ago.

Had an interview for a big New Zealand based outdoor retail company (also the capital of Nepal...) and this morning I egt the call to say they're offering me a position! Woo hoo! No more scalping off mum and dad. Feels so good to know I'll be earning my own money very soon once again!

Congratulations! Good luck with the new job!

Hypothetically if you were planning on getting a new car around early 2007. Would you go for an M6 or the 997 Turbo? To be used as an everday car.
Damn, that's a tough choice!

The M6 just edges out as the car I'd choose as a daily driver though. More comfortable and, I assume, more spacious. I haven't sat in either one though, so I don't know which is truly the better place to be.

Yeah from me too!

So I watched the movie "Just like heaven"....didn't know anything about the plot, just that it was a romantic comedy.

Pretty good movie. Really good actually.

So who got completely shit faced on St. Patty's day?
I sure did, it was a combination on Beer, Lambs, Goldschlager and Jagermeister (We went to the liquer store and just got some random stuff). Woke up with a bloody nose on my friends couch with no idea how i got there...gotta love University life.

Halfway through Prison Break I expected Ashton Kutcher to come out and yell, "YOU'VE BEEN PUNK'D!"

Does anybody know John Patrick O'Neill? Referred to as "the man who knew"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_P._O'Neill

He was an FBI agent that was investigating the '93 trade center bombing, USS cole bombings, and a number of other Al Qaeda related attacks. Anyway, he believed that there were cells operating in the US. His bosses didn't care much for him or what he thought though. He retired in August 2001, and took a job as head of security for the World Trade center. Speaking to his friend, and ABC news producer...

"he talked to his friend Chris Isham about the job. Jokingly, Isham said, ?Well, that will be an easy job. They're not going to bomb that place again.? O'Neill replied, ?Well actually they've always wanted to finish that job. I think they're going to try again.?

He was killed on 9/11.

Weird?

Well, he was killed in Tower 1, and he took the job voluntarily, so it doesn't strike me as an assassination conspiracy.

That's not what I was thinking. I have this feeling that the guy probably knew that something was in the works, and since nobody listened to him.....he took the job to try and do something from in there. I dunno. I mean, the top al qaeda investigator takes a job at the WTC one month before the attack.....
