Between 1984-95, the Victorian Police force shot dead 35 people, including unarmed and mentally ill suspects. This is twice the number of people shot dead by all the other Australian police forces combined in the same period. They re-trained the whole force and introduced pepper spray and stun guns, but people are still being shot dead by the Victorian police. A man with a knife was shot dead in 2000 despite the officers on the scene having pepper spray and it happened again in 2006. At least three were killed in 2005 including one case where the police refused to disclose whether the deceased was armed or not at the time.

Interesting thing was when they came up with this livery the colours for the "Highway Patrol" car were supposed to be orange and blue the "normal" patrol cars were supposed to be yellow and blue, but some dick head got the memo ass about face, and the cars were painted the wrong colours. :lol:
