The Rocket yes, but Porsches have been used as Police Cars for years, even know that they are rare to seen as Police cars.

Its not a Promotional thing, they're often be used as Video-Trooper for Highspeed Chases, where the Video Opel Omega 3.2 gives up. And so what, the Italians gave a bloody Lamborghini in daily use...

While we had a very late dinner at a motorway restaurant somewhere in Italy, this police car was parked outside, the whole time with it's blue LE-lights running. It was a nice and becalming ambiente lighting during our meal.
