“Relationships - of all kinds - are like sand held in your hand. Held loosely, with an open hand, the sand remains where it is. The minute you close your hand and squeeze tightly to hold on, the sand trickles through your fingers. You may hold onto it, but most will be spilled. A relationship is like that. Held loosely, with respect and freedom for the other person, it is likely to remain intact. But hold too tightly, too possessively, and the relationship slips away and is lost.” ? Have to say TC seemed very natural there. No hint of PR fake persona from what I could see.

Jay IKEA now ranks up in my awesome list, quite near bacon and blowjobs.

Cowboy I've never gotten so drunk I wanted to rub one out while shoving a fire extinguisher up my ass.

Remind me never to have him round to dinner!

I half feel like Tom Cruise was genuinely intrigued by James as though collecting celebrity friends and drop ins are his thing like how rough cuts are Harry Shearer's deal.

TC actually seems a nice bloke - a bit show biz but then that's his job, oh a rather American and he can't help that at all. Daily Fail trying to make something out of nothing - the Stig does not talk and TC knows about it, so he did not feel he was not in the least bit snubbed IMHO. Non story.

TC just really seems to have enjoyed his time on TG. Every time I have seen him since then, he has managed to get the fact he was on TG in even when the other people seemed to have no idea what he was on about.

I think he'd be a good repeat guest.

I can't believe that Tom Cruise is 50. Frickin' 50! He's older than James.
