I'm very glad I will be missing this episode. Who would want to see the fools messing around in another caravan related stunt?
I just feel for the people that will tune into this programme wanting some information on the cars that are for sale, although that would be a rather shocking thing to include on a motoring programme. :glare:
Walter, Walter, Walter, I could go on the radio 3 site and say I missed all their programmes and was glad - the total addition to the sum parts of the world would be zero.

/Edit - hell I can't type today.

Well, uh...ME! :D

I just feel for the people that will tune into this programme wanting some information on the cars that are for sale
Then go watch some mediocre North American car show with mediocre hosts presenting mediocre cars on mediocre roads.

What about Overhaulin'? Watching Chip Foose work makes for great TV. Rides is pretty good too, I especially liked the one where they followed the designing of the new Shelby Cobra.

Recently I have also watched Wrecks to Riches - it's not as good as Overhaulin' but still worth a watch.

C'mon, WALTER! Lets pick it up! Youre not even being funny or creative anymore. I dont have time for this shit! Post something worthwhile, it will help if you put your tinfoil hat back on.

The people that watch Top Gear still hoping for relevant information on every bog-bottom car probably have the IQ of a lima bean.

This is sort of like me going to an American Idol forum and telling people I won't be watching the next episode, and I wish the show was about musical instruments.

I hear that this week's Star in a Reasonably Priced Car will be Ron Jeremy. ;)
Where'd you hear that? The star is film star, Brian Cox.

 It was a joke, hence the winking smiley!

I just Googled it and found out for myself that he's a pornstar! Its not my fault I didn't know :p

Cox also stars in Deadwood. Oh the dick jokes

I think by now people should know to ignore Walter. We're never going to agree with him so don't bother arguing your point to him because it won't make any difference. Either that or post pictures of monkeys like we did in that other thread.

Lets get back on topic :)

I personally agree with Walter, and you guys bashing him just because he is currently opposed to what Top Gear is doing should be ashamed of yourself. Top Gear has really gone downhill in the recent days. You guys know it, but you refuse to admit it because of your blind following of JC and his gang. Lately, nothing that TG has done is "fun" or "informative". Jame's civic review was abyssmal. Could have been mistaken as an excercise in cinematography and editing. Well anyway, you guys will probably proceed to make fun of me, but I doubt you will be able to refute me.

Not that I will stop watching TG, I am just worried that TG has stooped to the lowest common denominator like all shows tend to do. Like I say "TG is a car show based on entertainment, not a entertainment show based on cars". I wish this was still true.

Hell no I don't think any of our established members here would do that to you. Why? Because you didn't join this forum simply to tell a bunch of TG fans what a BAD program you think TG is like Walter did. You've actually joined here for other reasons and contributed in a range of different ways here.

Being critical of TG is fine and if anything, a TG fan site should be MOST critical of it. And I agree with you - I thought May's review of the Civic was poor and it seemed more like a showcase for their editing skills. But the difference is that Walter joined to tell us that he didn't like TG.

I don't blame members for e-bashing Walter because it makes no sense at all to join a forum that is a fan site for a show and do nothing but bash it. If you have a bug with it - make a point, we'll listen and then leave. You can't honestly think you can stay around here and expect to be treated like a normal member?!!

As UKD said - It would be like him running off to an Idol forum and telling them that he won't be watching the show

So you don't like the current Top Gear format, yet you'll still put out tihe time and effort to watch it every week?

Strong in his convictions, this one.

Don't you just love people who hate TG so much, yet still find the time to watch it?

Of course, if you cared to read my post, I never said i didn't like TG or hated TG. Being a long time watcher and fan ( and fee payer ), I just said I didn't like where TG is going. But people will find a way to spin words back at you.

There is a difference between "not liking a show as much as i used to" and "not liking the show anymore".

Unfortunately 'kekekeke' these people take any criticism of TG as an the equivalent of me eating their spleen and puking it up again over them. I, like you have already said I have been a fan of TG for a very long time, what I am angry about is the way JC & Co have ruined this great show.

AND THAT IS ALL YOU HAVE SAID - Thats the problem! Read my post again. You'll also notice that I had no problems with what kekekeke said.

As UKD jokingly said - it would be like him running off to an Idol forum and telling them that he won't be watching the next episode or whatever. They'd laugh at him and tell him to f :censored: k off.
