Then there?s the Special around Christmas, and then the Shit Show in January, the one where we have no money left.

Somewhere in there, they're going to have a week off in December for whatever reason, from the looks of things.

Radio Times have put up synopsis:

Motoring news and views. Jeremy Clarkson travels to Belfast to conduct a test of the Renaultsport Twingo 133 involving a tunnel, a ferry and the actor Ross Kemp. Meanwhile Richard Hammond investigates ways to speed up summer holidays as he invents the new sport of airport vehicle racing. James May tests the new Vauxhall Insignia VXR in the company of British road signs designer Margaret Calvert, and Jeremy is on and off the track in the BMW X5M, Audi Q7 V12, and the latest supercharged Range Rover.

Airdate December 6, 2009, with a start time of 8:30 pm. (Before that is an encore of James May on the Moon.)

Man, this sounds like it could be an episode from 5 years ago!

James May with a senior citizen, check. (Calvert's in her mid-70s)
Richard Hammond and his rally car drivers making a grand mess of things, check.
A three-way car review with Clarkson, check.

By the way, the guest this week is Guy Ritchie, who
a) directed one of the best films of all time -- Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels,
c) directed the upcoming Sherlock Holmes film, which is probably what he's going to be plugging,
b) was married to Madonna until just recently

Richard Hammond and his rally touring car drivers making a grand mess of things, check.

FTFY.

Yeah, this looks quite promising. Fingers crossed!

Cobol, check the Radio Times site. It's listed there for 7:30 pm that Sunday.
