On the list, it says it Einaudi's Retornare, but the melody doesn't sound anything like the song, even though the piano with strings sounds like it could be one of his.

I've spent a few days now listening to everything I can on YouTube and iTunes' store and am at a loss.
and does anyone know the very first real song, at 0:31 seconds????? cant match it from the above lists

That is re-run music that replaced the original music. It is from ExtremeMusic.com.

I realize this is from a re-run, and isn't music from the original airing, but has anyone found the name/artist of the song that plays at 0:31 of this video?

            52:14 - 52:36 - Klaus Badelt & Mark Batson - A-500

Scene when they open the garage door the next morning after Liechtenstein. I think it's from the Nutcracker Suite, but could be wrong. 43:48 on the iTunes version. "The next morning, we headed south out of Davost."

Sorry, this is really bugging me and have tried for two weeks to identify it.

            Thanks.
The song of the scene whe they open de garage is Mystic Tryst from Jim Dooley.

its on the bit where richard says "we couldn't quite believe what we had stumbled on." Then goes onto say " mile after mile of deserted perfection". It ends when richard starts talking about the roads perfection. its the same clip that i saw so i hope this helps you!! Its a really nice piece of classical music that goes on for quite a while

                Thanks

                  Missing Song not on list

What is the song that is first played in the lightweight car showdown, when Richard introduces his green GT RS.

Its nowhere to be found on this thread

as stated on the bottom of the first post:

This listing contains music from the original BBC broadcast version,
all other versions (Dave, Youtube, TopGear.com, et al) have replaced music.
If you are looking for music from these alternate versions, most of it can be
                        found by going to: www.extrememusic.com.
                        It's the music that drives.

The first part just after the garage opening is Mystic Tryst by Jim Dooley.
The "dreamy" part that follows with aerial camera angle is Mystic Prelude by John Powell.
                              I hope that helps.

Hi at the beginning of the Best Driving Road Segment, Richard introduces his car (Porsche) and a piece of music is played in the background, kind of like kids chanting?

The YouTube video of the episode is here: (could you please go from 0:55 - 1:40), where the music is heard

Could somebody please tell what the song is at the very beginning of this clip of the San Bernadino pass? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YlpmqrcbVXs I swear I recognise it from Assassins Creed. According to when it plays, it coincides with Quinn: Acedia.....I checked out that song and it's not what I'm looking for so my version must not be the original
