the song on the radio he describes as thrash metal sounds like Napalm Death, not sure which song.

If you find a particular song title, let me know. I listened through their discography briefly but didn't find anything.

I'm pretty sure it's something off Order Of The Leech, will go listen now.

Edit: Yeah the song is 'Narcoleptic' from the Order Of The Leech album. At least the bit from 5:29 to 5:34, the first bit is really hard to tell cause of the talking over it, but it's probably the same song.

And Napalm Death aren't thrash metal, they're grindcore! Chuhhh, shame on JC.

The Carrera GT Car Review song list is correct for THIS version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ANA_gI7wGJA

But in THIS version (official BBC version on YT) there is another song in it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vE_WqdKbTvY

It's from 2:32 to 2:52. And I really would like to know which song it is.
The first video you posted is the original broadcast version. The second video is from a repeat. If any music is different in the repeat it almost always means the replacement music comes from www.extrememusic.com. Search through the rock genre albums and you are likely to find it.

Thanks man! Can you narrow the genre down to a subgenre? There's way too many songs on extrememusic.com...

I guess I found it: X-Series, Rock, Garage Rock XCD087, Title: "Snow Job".

It's called "Pipe Tunes" by Shooglenifty

Awesome... now only if I could find a copy :( Sorted!

Thanks all - I have been waiting to hear this song in full since this episode was NEW!
