This summer I have been to two car events, one in Spain and one home in Norway. The first one was during my holiday down there at Costa Blanca, the Spanish GT Championship at the Albacete raceway.
As always it was really difficult to get pictures of the cars out on the track, it was much easier to get them when they came into the pits. The contenders were; Ferrari F430 Challenge and 430 GT2, Porsche 996/997 GT3 RSR and 997 GT3 Cup, Mosler MT900, Sun Red and Ginetta G50.

The second event I was at was the Gatebil Festival at Rudskogen Raceway 30 minutes away from where I live. This year the weather was slightly shit, starting with rain, but fortunately the sun came out and it dried up quickly, so lots of smoky stuff...
Team Schuberth Motorsport from the VLN-series with the Norwegian driver Stian S?rlie was there and participating in the Racing extreme series, predictably they won, despite the fact that they were up against lighter cars with a lot more than twice the amount of power.

sadly, it ended up like this: Lost the brakes on the back straight at about 200 km/h (120 mph) the driver was unhurt, just a bit shaken after that...
Abuse of tires:
The army had a stand there and a show after the event was over:
