Who do you think will win the American elections?

  • McCain / Palin

    Votes: 44 53.0%
  • Obama / Biden

    Votes: 39 47.0%

  • Total voters
    83
I'm guessing McCain will win, since he's completely fake now. With either candidate, America loses.
Why do you say that? Obama isn't perfect, but he's a hell of a lot better than anything we've had recently and the world seems to like him which can't be a bad thing (boo isolationism).

I personally think (AND hope) Obama / Biden will win because of Palin. I think many Americans are scared of Palin actually becoming President by accident and will therefore vote for Obama even if they don't really like him. I hope this is enough to counter the "NO BLACK" voters from certain rural areas :(

There are just as many "GO BLACK" voters..

I voted McCain and Palin, Murphy's law, and all that..

You certainly won't see me disagreeing, Obama is better. Neither candidate is really what I think America needs, though.

w/e its not like any one president can single handedly ruin or save America.Chill

We will see later if Finalgear can predict votes
Prediction sucks ... we wanna change the vote!

I too voted for the Pair that I hope doesn?t win here ... but I guess it will happen. :(

^ that made no sense

Which part? The first half? Or the second half?

Edit: My mistake, I've been awake for too long: I meant "until the conventions"; not "until the primaries". If that makes any more sense.

I expected it to be a lot more of a craze surrounding a presidential election. before I came here, I expected it to be everywhere until the election is actually held. I think this might have something to do with me being in Texas though, I mean, all there is are a few stands outside the student union on campus promoting the Republican Party and McCain/Palin.

I think Obama reminds me too much of our politicians at home for me to like him; He's very good at making bold promises about change. However I think it is very likely that if he gets elected he will disappoint someone, as something that was clear and easy when said, often turnes out to be very difficult to do...

Well, unless you count the current one... :p
lol, i think bush fuck us in the ass pretty damn well
Obviously, none of you are old enough to remember the Carter administration.

That reminds me of Arnold Schwarzenegger telling a story about watching Hubert Humphrey's debate with Richard Nixon when he first came to the U.S. He said Humphrey sounded just like the socialist leaders back in Austria.

It's the same for the Vietnamese people I know. They didn't risk everything to come here from their country just to hear the same promises over again.

read an interesting fact in the newspaper the other day

apparently just because he's black, Obama's losing around 6% of votes...
6% is not a whole lot but if you consider the very tight race, it just could make or break him...
apparently people still think this something negative

*flamesuit on*

I saw that too. It's a shame that some Democrats still can't get past that.

With all his talk of "change change change" and his "New Deal" style of economics, you guys are going to get screwed with Obama and see this recession turn into a long-term depression.

I'll tell you who WON'T be winning in November:

The American public.

Haha! I've been saying this since the primaries...

OT, it's too early to tell.

I saw this freakass video of Sarah Palin in church doing some weird anti whichcraft excorcist ceremony.
It was dated july 2007, and was confirmed as real by some other people in the church

naturally, the Republicans chose not to comment on this.

How many times will they keep shooting themselves in the foot? Place your bets
