:lol: no, it's really old Aussie slang. It means....really good, I guess. Steve from Top Gear Australia used it about five times last episode and it's in my head now to call things Grouse. ARGH.
 
Hmm, interesting. There's a pretty famous Grouse Mountain in Vancouver, though I suspect that name has its roots in some aboriginal thing - most things here are actually named after aboriginal words.
