Nope born outside the US not qualified.
Obama was born in Hawaii and McCain was born in Panama..
Obama was born in Hawaii and McCain was born in Panama..
It's refreshing to see american TV channels where sensible people say sensible things. Why do I get Fox News over here and not MSNBC? And what is Microsoft doing with NBC?
I wonder how CNN did in that survey?
That comment would be a lot funnier if the person who made it was American. Drat.Obama was born in Hawaii and McCain was born in Panama..
"A study done by the Project for Excellence in Journalism showed that MSNBC had less negative coverage of Obama (14% of stories vs. 29% in the press overall) and more negative stories about Republican presidential candidate John McCain (73% of its coverage vs. 57% in the press overall). This can be compared to Fox News in the same report, which has more negative stories about Obama than the norm (40% vs. 29%) and fewer negative stories about McCain than the norm (40% vs. 57%)."

40% negative to 40% negative, Fox News is much closer to their slogan (Fair and Balanced) than the media average.
Project for Excellence in Journalism also stated "Fox was measurably more one-sided than the other networks, and Fox journalists were more opinionated on the air." in 2006.
http://tinyurl.com/657fu4Matthews: "Did you see FOX television as a tool when you were in the White House? As a useful avenue to get your message out?"
McClellan: "I make a distinction between the journalists and the commentators. Certainly there were commentators and other, pundits at FOX News, that were useful to the White House." [...] That was something we at the White House, yes, were doing, getting them talking points and making sure they knew where we were coming from.
Matthews: "So you were using these commentators as your spokespeople."
McClellan: "Well, certainly."
