2013 Ford Focus ST
Bought it about a month ago. I just moved to Colorado from California and wanted a car with AWD. The salesman at the local subaru dealership took me for a "brisk" drive on the back roads behind the dealership and I was sold. I couldnt have anything less.

Welcome to the Boxer family. :) Get snow tires and when it does snow, you'll laugh like an idiot with how much traction you have. It is simply hilarious to watch other cars struggling.

Funny enough, I owned a 1984 Fiero!

I see you also have an eye for photography; we would love to see your contributions in the lens flair thread!

That is awesome, I wanted one of those when I was getting my car but was too retarded :(

Oi! Watch the paint! These things aren't meant to get dirty...:shifty::mrgreen:

Welcome to the family! You definitely made a perfect choice in vehicles my friend. +1 on Jayhawk's suggestion, hilarity will ensue.

Nice Car, I've always been a fan of the Impreza WRX. One of the few Jap cars I think I would ever buy. (clarification... I didn't buy my current car :p)

:burnrubber:

Two words, mate.

Rally. Armor. Silverstar is correct, paint on Subarus is notoriously thin. Get yourself the Rally Armor flaps to protect your paint. Maybe a clear bra, too.

Get a reflash, springs, a subscription to Subiesport Magazine and you'll be set. ;)

A reflash? Are you insane, trying to tell him to go Stage 2 (since that's what I'm going to assume you mean since power gains going to stage 1 are minimal), without properly prepping his car? Downpipe, exhaust, et cetera, are what you need before you can even begin to think of going stage 2.

Yea I can already see what you guys mean about the paint as I bought it used and the front facia sure could use a repaint already

You misunderstood what he said, he's talking about a stg 1 reflash that doesnt require any bolt on mods, it optimizes the ECU MAPs with stock hardware, smooths out the engine behavoir and tweaks boost, and throttle response with noticeable improvement in driveability.

It was either the 04 or 05 Sti's that had crappy factory ECU tunes and would stutter and hesitate under hard driving, a simple AP stage 1 reflash cures the car of that.

Plus once he has the AP, then he is free to mod the car however he wants in the future and having the AP already he can just either reflash a new off the shelf map appropriate to his mod level or use the AP with a protune by an experience dyno tuner.

In short an AP is the best short term and long term hardware performance investment he can make in his car.

I suggest to the OP to not cheap out and buy a ver 2.0 AP unit instead of the slower, more problematic ver 1 AP units. This is not something you want to cheap out on.

How much does something like that cost?

How much does something like that cost?

brand new about $800 but ppl sell them used on the subaru boards all the time for $400-600. And its solid state hardware, like a flash memory ipod, they don't really 'go bad' with use.

All these shots were taken last year. I have yet to get some black or gunmetal wheels

The 05 STi is one of my all time favorite cars. If i could drive, it would be in a 05 STi

im a sucker for the bright blue paint + gold wheels but the silver is very very handsome.

im seriously jealous
