i am looking for a new graphics card, and was on amazon and i found these 2 graphics cards. is there something im missing? they are the same except one is lifetime warranty, has a faster clock speed and its cheaper 2....? same manufacuter, both EVGA, but boxes and case a little different.

Expensive one:
http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-512-P3-N871-AR-GeForce-9800GTX-Graphics/dp/B0016BL5M4/ref=cm_cr_pr_sims_t

Cheap one:
http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-512-P3-N...rd-Lifetime/dp/B001CIE5XM/ref=cm_cr_pr_sims_t

even the RRP is way less

there must be something im missing...

The cheaper one got better reviews and from what I can see they are both the same.

I'd get the cheap one unless someone else can explain the differences.

Judging form the pics the more expensive one has more cables included. S-video and component video cables are included in that package. So if you don't need those get the cheaper package.

The cheap one is the 9800GTX+, which is a die shrink of the 9800GTX, so it uses less power and generates less heat.

what he said

the GTX+ is the newer & faster version, and the price was dropped recently to compete with ATI's lineup of cards, which is why it's priced cheaper than the old GTX

Would it be the one beginning with 8? Sorry I've been putting that gag off all day, I couldn't hold it in any longer.

the gtx+ has a 738mhz clock, compared to the gtx's 675, so I'd go with the gtx+.
