Simple poll, Zonda or Veyron?

Neither. I would rather have a Koenigsegg, but if I had to chose it would be the Veyron. I just feel like that if there was a desert coming in a distance if the Veyron was coming it would be cooler.

Yeah, but what if you had to pick one to use it as a daily driver. Given all expenses would be paid, but you were forced to use it as your only car, which one would you pick?

I'd still choose the Zonda. It has a removable top so you can go topless when its nice outside, which would be impossible in the Veyron. It has a proper manual gearbox, which is not present on the Veyron. It has a absoutely pornographic exhaust note, contrast with the diesel-truck exhaust of the Veyron. It looks better than the Veyron (obviously subjective). It is light and RWD, allowing you to do massive burnouts (which BTW, I have not seen a Bugatti Veyron do yet).

So in fact, the Zonda is probably a more rewarding daily driver because you can go topless, you can do burnouts, you can use a manual, and you instead of fapping to porn on your computer/TV, you can just go out for a drive.

Of course, if we are talking pure technicalities, then the Veyron wins: AWD, DSG, wins stoplight/1320 drag races with ease, diamond-fitted interior, etc.

So even if the Veyron would be easier to live with on a daily basis, give me the Zonda because:

But I guess if going faster in a straight line and boasting 1000HP is what rocks your boat, then go for the Veyron. Diff strokes for diff folks, eh? :D

So you would drive to work with a Zonda rather than a Veyron on a cold, snowy winter day?

Yes, I would....

The editor of EVO magazine, Harry Metcalfe has a Zonda. According to him it's no problem commuting in it, makes every commute into a special occasion. He's even done it in the winter, just for fun. Only thing is you would have to enjoy attention, because you will get a lot of it.

I would have to since I can only drive the Zonda, remember that the Roadster still comes with a removable top.

But unless you live in Alaska or Canada or where there is constantly bad weather then you would probably go for the Veyron. Where I live, in the midwest, or if I was in SoCal, there are very few, if any, snowy days. Sometimes they fall on the weekend.

Although I do have say this debate is a bit pointless because none of us would even have a remote chance of owning either of these cars and even if we were able to purchase them we would probably be able to afford another car as a daily driver. Although it's always fun to imagine.

Well, the point I am trying to make is that a simple question like this may change the decision everyone meets, so simply asking "which one would you pick" does not really tell much.

I might go for the Zonda as well if the conditions are the right ones.

True. As I said, if I lived in an area with constant sh!tty weather, then I would probably go for the Veyron. But the weather has to be really crappy for it to override all the pluses of the Zonda.

Well, the fewer people that choose the Veyron, the more there is left for us. :p

Never say never. There's a lot of really, really rich people and I know how they did it and I'm going to try and follow what they did and maybe I'll be rich too.

There's a program I'm going to follow where people not even in their 20's yet and without degrees are earning $2,000 a day. Some people even earn $10,000 a day using it. I'm going to start using it in the coming months and if it's any good you'll definitely hear about it because anyone can do it.

The problem with making the comparison based on which you would have to use everyday is that ultimately, a Honda Accord would be the best choice. Veyron vs. Honda, for everyday livability, the Honda beats the Veyron like a red headed step child. It's a million times more affordable, a million times more reliable, a million times more efficient, it has more cargo room, carries more passengers, cheaper to repair, and it probably has a better warranty.

That makes the thread kinda lame though.

It would, but a Honda is not available for choice.

Zonda. If I was to spend that much money on a vehicle, I would want something to challenge me, not a car that gives me handjobs at 150 MPH.

You're supposed to leave that to the girls you pick up in the Zonda. :D

I cannot believe so many people picked the Veyron!

It's not we're asking which car you'd like to commute in or which one you'd want to keep for 20 years.
The Zonda is just such an easy choice for me.

RWD vs AWD
manual vs auto gearbox

And to the people who think the Veyron sounds nice : WAT? The Zonda is the best noise in the world ever. Srsly.

I thought the Zonda would take this win easily, but apparently people are less insane than I thought :?
Less insane than me atleast

^ and the Veyron is an easier choice for me, i'm a fan of it, full stop. If i wanted a rampaging loud and OTT itlaian car, i'd take a LP640, nothing against the Zonda, but it's not about common sense, it's about what you like.

Damn tough choice, but it'd have to be the Zonda F Roadster. It might seem overly mad and whatnot but there would come a point when it all made sense.
That point would come at exactly the same time as you enter a tunnel. Then all would be well!
Make no mistake, the Bug is great in a "Wow, it has more power than a medium-sized galaxy" way but the Z has the combo of no roof, RWD NA V12 and a manual box. Proper job!

Zonda. so much of a cooler looking car.

the bugatti doesn't do it for me.. its an amazing car, but if i were to spend that much money on a car, i want it to actually look like it came from somewhere else.

the bugatti's shape doesn't do it for me.

Hard one. Zonda is maddest supercar nowadays, but I voted Veyron, because in my eyes it is ultimate GT car. You can live with one everyday. If I lived on french/italian riviera then, I would buy Zonda.

Zonda, I am not worried about every day. Neither car would be nice to daily drive, the Veyron is as wide as an Escalate so it comes to what would i have more fun on a weekend run. The Veyron would be great, but I think the Zonda would be better. And it's a true hypercar, the Veyron is a supercar on crack.
