FRENCH CARS FTW! :D

Can't wait!~

French cars.
Any type.

$5,973.64 USD
$9,002.07 AUD
4,629.71 EUR

My god this is difficult......I had many cars in mind but after a few hours I don't find any of them !! Damn !! Everything nice is so expensive (well, over 4000? anyway....). Good challenge, by far the most demanding so far.

However, finally I struck gold. Aston Martin, I don't know where you get your currencyrates, but if I were to go and exchange 4000? I'd get 4822,40? and this time that 200? makes a huge difference.

Yes, it is a bit over budget so I have to cheat just a little bit, but hey, it's only 177? over the 4.822? limit.
Looks to be very clean insiden and out.

I had to take this one early, because I didn't want anyone else finding it first :p
Of course this might backfire if something better appears in the next few days.....what can you do....

I use XE... that ?4k is now worth 4602 EUR.

It doesn't have to be that accurate, a couple of hundred Eur's here and there is fine.

Dull but beautiful.

This was difficult, as there isn't much on the ebay itself at the moment. But I found something in the end that took a lot of searching.

1988 Renault Alpine GTA V6.

Seen the video when the steering locked up on Clarkson and he hit a concrete barrier? (I know it was staged but...)

A little bit unsafe in by book, especially since he ran into a hedge on accident cause of the steering.

I LOVE FRENCH CARS

Decent mileage, all the toys, cheap to buy, okay to maintain (Nissan 350Z's engine), and the quirkiness of the French!

A really mixed bag this time, the Alpine you'd have to spend ?4k a week in spares.

couple of days left.

suggestions for next week?

Hmm....this is interesting, I wonder who is "in the lead" so to speak. I personally would go Renault Alpine GTA, I know it's a horrible car, but it's got that shabby charm they always talk about on TG

And I must admit I am very suprised noone picked a Citroen 2CV, kind of the obvious French car.

And for next week I had an idea:

Italian
RWD
14.000$

My suggestion:

US$50,000
400BHP minimum
Flashy
Looks good at the club
Sits 2 with no space for the old people
A correct representation of a wealthy, successful 24 year old who's a playboy

Suggestions are certainly something this week. :D

p.s. I got anon +repped.

'A++++++++ FAST SHIP! Product as described. Would buy again'

I got another suggestion!

1. Must be a product of the "Big 3"
2. Cost $30,000
3. Must be reliable
4. Must be good/excellent/well-received by the public (to show that they actually made good cars)

Time to remember them before they're gone
