Yeah, but then you think he would have had to have good timing. The barriers only go down with a train nearby. Maybe the got stuck trying to come across a lit crossing, got clipped in the rear quarter and then impaled on the barrier? But then... where are the skid marks; and there are barriers on both sides of the road... I'm going to just fall back on not underestimating the limitless power of stupidity to warp spacetime and cause paradoxical accidents.
