Volvo's 2 series won't win any beauty contests, but it is a good car, a lot of parts to improve them with, a lot of engines to convert them to, and you can actually push out 1000hp out of the Volvo 4cyl with enaugh cash thrown at it.

and the bumpers are mainly cosmetic really, it's whats behind the bumpers that do the work, the european ones i think actually said in the car manual that it could withstand a 30kph crash.
American making cars meant to have big solid bumpers? it looks right.
Americans putting big bumpers on european cars not meant for it, it looks silly.

although, i have to admit, i'm a sucker for the USDM headlamps, i'd rather have those than the huge blocks we got on our EUDM 240's, although, most of all, i want the other version of the USDM headlamps...
