Other Random Car Sightings [Photo Required]

And now a bit of a mystery for all you car sighters. I'm gonna go and try to get a better shot of this one, but until then I'm open for all suggestions of what it is. I already asked about this on irc and Alfa Spider came up as one guess, but I guess that's not it. I think I saw the back of this car a couple of years ago and even though it was even more covered up back then, I saw that it had wide wheel arches and wide rear tires (and possibly a rear spoiler, because the tarp had an odd bulge). The overall shape reminded me of a 911/930 Turbo, but couldn't make a positive ID.

^ Can't say for sure, but now I'm really interested in the car's identity. Hopefully I'll take a walk by the place in the next few days.

The other way around
These are shipped to a Finnish port, then delivered in a rig to Russia via Finnish roads. It's common that Finnish highways near the border are clogged with rigs full of expensive machinery (of course, most cars are regular family cars and SUV:s) because the borders work slowly.

Don't tell me that truck drove all the way from Russia to Finland!!

Im about 85% sure that it went from Finland TO Russia. A huge amount of goods are transported to Russia via Finland becuase of the lax toll pricing, etc.

The second time I've seen a proper Hummer here in Tampere.

The Hot Rod & Rock Show was held here last weekend, didn't want to pay the entrance fee so we just took a walk through the parking lot with my family. Lots of nice cars to see, mainly american cars but there were some other exotics as well. Haven't edited everything yet, so I'll be adding more pictures in a few days. Wow, perfect colour on that Volvo. Wonder how much it cost, as it's definitelly not stock. :p

I'm a little confused about this. Is this a real Porsche 356 SC? The picture quality is bad, but it looked pretty real when I saw it in person. And it's got Porsche owner's club badges so I'm assuming that it's not just a replica.

But what I'm most confused about is that this is a University service vehicle. Meaning that it's used for transporting goods or carrying people/tools for maintenance and repair work

It should be mostly if not totally stock, since it's registered as a "museum vehicle", indicated by the inverted colors in the license plate. In order to be accepted as a museum vehicle, it needs to be over 30 years old and kept in original condition or restored accordingly.

edit: And I just realized that you meant just the paint, not the whole car :p
