No surprise seeing so many nice cars in Singapore these days, I hear it's becoming one Asia's wealthiest countries. Their government has started to encourage local people to purchase luxury items to boost the economy as early as twenty years ago.

It's amazing that old German cars are still running on the roads today. It just shows that things were made better a few decades ago. I can say with some certainty that a 2009 Merc will not be running in 30 years time!!

Also some other randoms like Conti GT, GTC, V8 Vantage, Maserati Spyder... but who can be arsed to pull out their phone for those? I probably would have ignored the Drophead too if it didn't have the polished bonnet. :mrgreen:

Seriously though, it's an impressive looking car but I don't want one... not until I retire anyway. For that much money you could buy so many cool exotics.
 
Lonsdale in North Van...

I've see one downtown as well, but I think that was a different one since I don't remember it having the metal bonnet. It really does look a lot more average with a normal painted hood.
