So, more experienced interweb people, I need a new keyboard since my current Logitech is quiet uncomfortable to type with.

I am currently considering the following:

http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/keyboards/keyboard/devices/2996&cl=au,en

I'm hoping to keep it below $50AUD, but would be willing to go to about $70 max.

But the ones in that thread are more expensive than what I'm looking at....

Go to a thrift shop/old, established PC store and pick up a cheap IBM Model M. I have one, and I absolutely love it. Only cost me 5 US Clams, too.

I'm looking at the Logitech Wave and Microsoft ergonomic 4000 now. The Logitech is cheaper, but I'm not sure how comfortable either one will be.

I have the Razer Lycosa keyboard which I assume is just an older version of the Arctosa you are looking at. I like my keyboard and it works perfectly. It is a bit louder than my old wireless Logitech keyboard but I can also type a lot faster with this board as the keys have a much faster spring back. (sorry of that isn't very technical). Otherwise, it works just like a standard keyboard except each key is individually lit. :shrugs:

Go to a big computer retailer and pound away on the sample keyboards they have out, or find a model that you've tried at a friend's house or something. It's not the sort of thing you can decide from looking at a little picture on a website.
