Other Random Car Sightings [Photo Required]

Practically you only need that sticker in Switzerland anyway, I have only heard of people getting fined for this there.

See, that's what I'm trying to say... even though Switzerland isn't part of the EU and doesn't issue the standardized EU plates, the plates have a Swiss shield on them... even to someone like me it would be obvious that's a Swiss-registered car.

Those stickers seem really unofficial. There's no hologram or anything... I could just print out a CH sticker and parade around as a Swiss then.

It simply is a legal requirement, albeit an old one and not often enforced and you may be fined if you don't have it. That's all it's about.
They're not supposed to look official, they are not issued by the governent or anything, you can buy them at petrol stations and such. There are just prescriped minimum dimensions and stuff.

Spotted this at a shop I use - not too many of these around since there were only about 30-35 ever made. This one looks new inside and out without so much as a crease on the driver's seat.

Yes, sir, I like it! Interior was stripped out as well, back seats removed and such.

Hmm, people have kept saying that that Switzerland isn't a good country for supercars, but those thread is proving it the other way round. I mean, during one night in Geneva I saw more supercars (even a Veyron) than I would do over a few months in Norway.

Just a question of curiosity: how rare are Audi S5's in Vancouver?

I've seen three I think... but then again, I haven't seen more than a dozen or so regular A5s.

It seems quite uncommon for some reason... you probably see 145 new 3-Series 2 doors for every one A/S5.

I know someone who ordered a S5 last year and didn't get one until last week. i was thinking maybe I wasn't going to the "right" places to see them.

This GT-R randomly drove by while we (FG meet) were at the Cruisin' show. Thought it might turn into the show, but it didn't.

Seen today:

Undefined Oldtimer (Citroen?) in the centre of the picture. Next to the ugliest tree I've ever saw.

And ugly is also one of the keywords for this next sighting: NSU RO-80.
Love how the proportions and lines are all wrong, but at least they are wrong with style. :D

The small double barell gun exhausts are way cool, though.

Very unusual over-sized old swiss front plate. Normal plates are half the size.

I sat in the one our dealer has. That steering wheel is fantastic, as are the seats. So much side bolstering, soo good.

I was going past a house and it was for sale and I saw the auctioner carrying the sign and about to walk to this 10 year old A4 and I laughed at him and then saw him walking further to his C63 AMG. I take the same route every week, and he is still there, im waiting for him to start it up.
