I wish our 940 had a turbo..

Anyway, I think they could have done a lot more with the 17-year old bit.At this age, what you really want to do is hoon about, powerslide, do handbrake turns, and generally drive quickly. Giving the segemnt more action would have made it more exciting.

Oh yeah, 3500? to insure a liana?! LOL is the only thing I can say to that..

The challenge was a bit silly for me, although I did laugh at many of the jokes I found it lacking. News was better than last weeks, but not as good as previous seasons have been. We know they can make it relevant and funny if they want to, so come on guys ! SIARPC was OK. Good guest, well interviewed, but nothing stood out as special about the whole segment. Shame, as Fry is a talented and witty guy, but JC didn't get the best out of him I think. The Lambo was beautifully filmed in a truly gorgeous setting. A joy to watch. The race with the Veyron vs Mac at the end was exactly how I figured it would go, and as others have said, if they'd then put them on a track with some complex sequences of corners, the Mac would have wiped the floor with it. Again, beautifully filmed in a stunning setting though. For me, an average episode with room for improvement, and my usual criticism of there being no real car content barring the pornography and some stupidity. A '6', as I can't give it a '7' 'cos it wasn't as good as last weeks.

Amazing shots in Abu Dhabi, gorgeous supercars and that sound of SV, 9/10:cool:

It when me laugh a few times but (i know this is just me) the picking on James making him come last joke is just started to feel old to me.

I agree (altho he didn't come last) it is getting a bit tired. But if you've seen the youtube footage of Jezza getting stuck in the portaloo, he can dish it out but he can't take it - he looked pretty p'd off with that!
The other thing that p'd me off was all the little girlies being arranged along the front of the audience - no way some of 'em were 18, but i guess if you're thin blonde & pretty enough they'll waive that....I know the challenge was about teens but when it was people carriers they didn't drag all the parents to the front!:hmm:

Stunning photography in Abu Dhabi, glad my beloved Veyron came thru. Loved the office stuff - Stig in copier was priceless!

My beloved Mr Fry was lovely, but i too felt they didn't showcase him at his best.

A 9 again, hoping for a 10 soon...

The "portaloo incident" is completely different. I'm fairly certain Clarkson can take it coming from his friends.

Strangers doing that sort of "practical jokes" with you just because you're famous.. I'd be kinda pissed too.

One thing that did kind of annoy me was did anyone notice in the news segment, behind Jezza, there was a girl with the biggest puss on her face??!!

She looked bored off her tits as they were discussing the Ariel Atom and stuff.

It just annoys me when there are die hard fans/motorheads waiting round with baited breath for tickets, and then there is the odd occasion where someone goes along with their boyfriend, and clearly aren't interested in most of the car related stuff...

It was a 9.8/10 in my opinion, mainly because of the office sketch. One of my favourite 5 episodes, it was entertaining, and they showed us something that most people simply doesn't believe(Veyron vs McLaren).

The challenge was rubbish, could have been funny but they completely missed the mark.. But i really enjoyed the rest of the episode!

And as someone already pointed out: Top gear really need to hire somebody to check their "facts"...

Sorry didn't like it, I gave it a 4.

If Clarkson says "penis" on the next episode it will be a 4 too.

I understand that the beeb has rules on scatological language, but if James can say cock, then why cant JC.

Seriously do you know anyone who uses that word, I guess it's the only word the beeb let them use so they are being as risqu? as possible.

On the + side, the murc. and the rest of the hypercars was an OK bit, I understand if there wasn't enough room to race them all at once, though why they couldn't have got all 4 of them together in the same shot is beyond me.

Fry was surprisingly meh too, don't know why I'm normally a fan and was looking forward to it.

It was great.

Challenge with office part was fun and something new. I'm not a fan of SIARPC but this time loved it. Bugatti and MCL was nice cherry on a cake.

The LP 670dash4 SV is fantastic. It is true Lambo like Countach or Diablo. I mean new Lambos are great cars but for me there were too audish. This one though is mad, have a huge spoiler, don't have radio and bursts flames from the back. This is what Lambo should be.

IMO this ep was much better then last one (and 1st wast very good too) so 10/10.

Well, I use the word 'penis' when I'm talking about penises. I don't really understand why it upsets people when it's more 'correct' than the numerous slang terms for male genitalia.

I've noticed, though, that although Jeremy will use the word 'cock' as an insult, it's not how he normally refers to actual penises. Personally, I have no problem with it, and it's probably the least risqu? word for it without resorting to childish nicknames. To be honest, I'd be more worried if he started using words like 'willy', 'winkie' or 'peter', for example.

But one thing I definitely agree with you on - all four hypercars in the same shot would have been awesome.

Awesome. I laughed unbelievably hard when they set off May's stereo when he was pulling up to his mums house

Also, fuck the Veyron.

McLaren F1 > Veyron

Also liked the challenge, very good, loved it when Jezza crashed trying to park and when he couldn't get out of the field cos the Volvo was so heavy.

I hate to break it to you, but the only reason the Volvo coudn't make it up the hill, was because Jeremy was driving it like an idiot. He just put it in first and then slamed the throttle. The proper technique would have been to put it in 2nd gear, half throttle and play with the clutch at its slipping point.

I have to say, I liked the episode, although...I was a bit disappointed with the 17-year-old challenge. The first part was great, but the second one - they just became ridiculous. I would've loved if they did a proper cheap car challenge, like the one from 3-4 years ago with the cars for less than 100 quid.

Oh and by the way, did you guys think Richard used the launch control on the Lambo? It looked a bit slow at the start.
