Hey all. I'm new here, so I figured I would introduce myself with pictures. I am a 22 year old student at Purdue in Indiana, but a lot of my time outside of school is spent with a camera. I've always loved both cars and photography, so it was only natural that I put the two together early on.

My equipment: (Not everything below was done with this setup)

-Canon 5D
-Canon 35 f/1.4L
-Canon 85 f/1.2L

That's about it... Enjoy!

My favorite is 12, but I would cut the lights on the bottom out. So the picture ends just under the badge. then it'd be perfect :)

Awesome pics! Odly, #3 is my favorite.

Thanks! 3 is my most recent fun outing... I was out getting some sunset shots of a windmill farm about 20 min away, and I found this Cat just sitting there.

That shot's a 3 exposure HDR, spaced -2,0,+2.

Something doesn't look right around the roadrunner in #9, and I'm not referring to the missing trail of dust that should go all the way to the back of the car. Otherwise they look pretty good, a few of them look slightly overexposed, but I don't know if that's intentional or not.

Awesome collection u got there
1,3,7 and 11 were my favorite.

Got any info on the Camaro to share?! looks really awesome.

Not sure what you're referring to on #9... Looks O.K. to me. I was fighting a lot of blue reflection from the sky. Maybe I need to tone down that hue a bit

Thanks! The Camaro is an '01 SS. Pretty basic, just a cam and bolt-ons. I loved the look of the black/polished TT2s on the black car though.

Good use of shallow DOF. Nice stuff.

Gracias!

A Roadrunner picture! *squeals like school-girl*

I really like the Challenger shot

Yea, my jaw dropped when the Roadrunner pulled up for the shoot. That thing was immaculately restored. So much money in that car... It was a bonus for me...I had only planned to shoot the 95 Pace Car Vette and the 63 split window coupe that day, but the owner of the Vettes made a call to get the Roadrunner out to the shoot.

The Dozer and F1 car are my favorite out of this batch. Keep shooting, I know its tough to find time to do so as a college student.

2, 3 and 11 are my favorites. 2 works really well with the horizontal lines of the gate, 3 has some amazing exposure and backdrop and I love the depth of field on 11, turned what would have been an ordinary photo into quite an interesting looking, pretty photo.

My only criticisms are of 4, not sure about the effects on that, but that might just be down to subjective taste.

Thanks Dsemaj.

Are some of these models? The depth of field is awfully shallow on some of them.

All are full-size vehicles. Some may have been shot with some heavy f/1.2 and f/1.4 prime lenses though... :D

And here are two from my latest feature shoot...
