but it was awesome!

i felt like a 5 year old somalien kid running around in a candy store, not knowing what to choose first.

first of all i'd like to say: "WHAT AN ORGANISATION!" it must be such a gigantic task to set such an event up, and everything was so well organised, and everyone was so polite and helpful it almost kreeped me out.

english girls are nice as well, all fake blonde, but i don't care, as long as it's blonde

then the cars, i've been to several old timer meetings, and there you watch cars.
not at goodwood...there you watch history. every car you see there, means something, achieved something
bugatti confirmed they are the coolest autobrand ever, the silver arrows gave me goosebumps, the collection of alvis were pure porno, the retro bikes are so adoreable, everything you see there is an event.

we took almost 1300 photos, but they're on a friends laptop and i'll get them tomorrow. i'll post some then

i'm definately returning next year...and if i have some money at the end of the summer, i might go to the revival as well

Goodwood sounds like an amazing event, waiting for the photos

There's a 2-part document about the revival meeting (in HD no less), very cool as well.

^realy not that expensive, the same weekend it was also rock werchter, which i visited for the last 5 year. there a ticket was 160?. i think the 115? for goodwood were a much better spending... (i don't have to get on a plane though, guess that helps)

but from my own experience, if someone posts a shitload of pics, you watch the first 10, and then scroll thourgh the rest, so i'll just post a few, and add some every day

i talked to the guy, and apparently during the revival, every tent wil have some sort of classic/kit car next to his tent. the festival of speed is more visited by families with their kids, whilest the revival is visited by car enthusiast who already achieved a certain age...

very few cars have a plate with explanation next to them, above them there is a plate with the year and the name but that's it. which is a pitty, but if you want to see it all, you don't have time to read them anyways...

i remembered it was some american name, tried google with "california", but only the new one showed up (pics of that one comming up later as well

the first hour we were on the field it realy felt like your head will explode, your jumping, yelling, pointing, full of adrenaline for all the exclusive stuff you see there

we had to show up in my dad's patrol

which has lots of storage space, so we could bring anything which deemed handy during the weekend

a fridge, 30liters of beer, we had great bbqs during the evenings

you could buy a guide there with a list of all cars, which i didn't (a friend did, so we had one), so i don't have one hear, and don't remember all names of the cars anymore, if sth is wrong say so, or if not named, ask and someone here will be able to answer

will post pics in chronological order as we took them, or i won't be able to keep track, but that means i'll have to dissapoint the car-only guys (if those excist) caus first paddock we came across were the bikes...
