I'm selling my Feinwerkbau
I've always had a crap right eye (damaged muscle since birth), and it is now giving me a bad headache trying to shoot with my right eye. I've seen my optician (who is a shooter) but he says there is nothing he can do with it. I've ruled out shooting left handed, and using crossover sights, for various reasons.
I'm going to go back to shooting pistol. I've done a few weeks with my old Rohm Twinmaster Top and I can still shoot pretty well with it (~88x100), but I clearly need a better gun, especially as the gun has a lot of problems. The gun didn't have enough power to rip a clean hole in a card so I have packed the hammer spring with washers to give it a bit more power. It has worked and rips clean holes. Unfortunately it means that the trigger weight has increased greatly, and it will only go down to 950g fully wound out, which is a long way off the legal minimum of 500g.
The grip is also cracked in two, so I have had to pack it with washers internally to stop it cracking more. Unfortunately this has removed any adjustability the grip had, so it is too far forward for my hand. The gun isn't the best match pistol anyway with only a single stage trigger and not much adjustments.
I'm going to be looking at buying a new pistol when I have sold my rifle. I don't like the Steyr LP10 my dad has so I'm not looking at them. The FWB P44 will be out of my price range so it isn't really an option unless I can find a second hand model.
So at the moment I am looking at the Morini CM162 (electronic or mechanical)
Hammerli AP40
and the Walther LP300XT
Does anyone have any experience/thoughts on these guns?
Edit: Possibly the Benelli Kite as well but I don't really know anything about them.
