Let's talk about AIRGUNS!

I have a Gamo Pt 80, but like Vipers penis... it hasn't been touched in 5 years.

I have the grey Gamo CFX rifle with a mounted telescope sight, and it really packs a punch! With my current ammo it'll do around 1000 fps. In terms of looks you guys are way ahead with those insane designs though :(

I've got some pictures of mine. It is standard apart from it has Centra adjustable Irises front and rear. The rear also has a weird 5 colour filter which I must admit I can't entirely see the point of.

I shot the gun for the first time tonight. It took a bit of adjustment but I'm pretty happy with it now. Mainly need to adjust the trigger and the butt-plate, but only slightly.
This is my last 5 shot group from tonight. The score could be 46, 47 or 48, I can't really tell.

Nice shooting!
Someday (soon , I hope) I will own a similar rifle. :)

Hey!
Let's get this thread moving!
Look what I got:
Slavia_631_LUX.png

CZ Slavia 631 Lux. I know it looks crap compared to Peter3HG's Fein, but it's a start.

All I've got is this.. not as hardcore as you guys haha

GTR, the fact you are shooting gives you automatic reputation, no matter what equipment you have.
Oh, and that Daisy looks very nice.

Wow, they still make these? I'm sure I still have the same one rusting in the corner somewhere.

^

Some of you might remember this from a year ago.
Well yesterday I was at the championship again, this year there were 26 wimmenz and I knew of 8-10 of them so I thought my chances of getting in the finale was small (best 8) but I thought it went okay-ish and I heard some of the others complaining about being bad. I was 7th \o/ with 8th at the same number of points and 6th only 2 ahead.
The finale went brilliantly, I started with 10,8 and 10,4 and nr 6 did pretty bad so at that point I had already overtaken her and I think that psyched her out because she never really got it together (she was left-handed so she faced me and I could see her expressions, not a happy face) so in the end I was 6th :D lowest I shot was a 8,4 rest was over 9.

Congratulations!

Crosman 338 / BB / CO2 / 110-120 m/s / got it for free / crap

10geohj.jpg

Aniks A-111 / BB / CO2 / 145 m/s / cheap (since it's Russian-made) / better than the Crosman but still crap

I always liked air rifles, but having nowhere to practice renders investing in one pointless <_<

He, those "simulacra" are banned here.<_<

"Here" as in this thread or "here" as in Brazil?
If it's the former, this doesn't fall under either firearms or airsoft, I believe. If the latter - I can see why, I bet that if you were spotted with one of those in the slums of Rio, BOPE would shoot to kill. It's for good, then.

Here=Brazil
There were cases of robbery and assault using those replicas.

I'm selling my Feinwerkbau
I've always had a crap right eye (damaged muscle since birth), and it is now giving me a bad headache trying to shoot with my right eye. I've seen my optician (who is a shooter) but he says there is nothing he can do with it. I've ruled out shooting left handed, and using crossover sights, for various reasons.
I'm going to go back to shooting pistol. I've done a few weeks with my old Rohm Twinmaster Top and I can still shoot pretty well with it (~88x100), but I clearly need a better gun, especially as the gun has a lot of problems. The gun didn't have enough power to rip a clean hole in a card so I have packed the hammer spring with washers to give it a bit more power. It has worked and rips clean holes. Unfortunately it means that the trigger weight has increased greatly, and it will only go down to 950g fully wound out, which is a long way off the legal minimum of 500g.
The grip is also cracked in two, so I have had to pack it with washers internally to stop it cracking more. Unfortunately this has removed any adjustability the grip had, so it is too far forward for my hand. The gun isn't the best match pistol anyway with only a single stage trigger and not much adjustments.
I'm going to be looking at buying a new pistol when I have sold my rifle. I don't like the Steyr LP10 my dad has so I'm not looking at them. The FWB P44 will be out of my price range so it isn't really an option unless I can find a second hand model.

So at the moment I am looking at the Morini CM162 (electronic or mechanical)

and the Walther LP300XT

Does anyone have any experience/thoughts on these guns?

Edit: Possibly the Benelli Kite as well but I don't really know anything about them.

Sad to hear that...
I never had the opportunity to shoot any of those pistols, so I can't help you.

Bought a second hand Morini CM162 El this morning. Pictures later.

Edit:
Had a few problems with my first test shoot in the garden. Roughly every other shot just wasn't firing when I pulled the trigger. I stripped it down and there was a fair bit of gunk inside, so I cleaned it out and wiped the contacts. It managed to shoot 30 further shots without one misfire so I'm pretty confident I've sorted it out now. I'll find out properly when I use it at the gun club on Thursday.

Anyway, pictures:

I've just bought a Weihrauch hw95

Now i'm new to shooting so any guides as to the best thing to do with regards to maintenance etc would be very much appreciated.

Also, i bought this second hand and knew there were some scratches on it. They're not as bad as i thought but what do you think the best way is to try to get rid of these scratches? Someone mentioned walnut oil?
