13th series broadcast time change

Is there some specific reason why they changed the broadcasting of the 13th series? If im not mistaking, based on the old schedule, it should begin somewhere after Sept. What am i missing here?
 
There is usually a summer (this series) and a winter (ending around Dec 25) series.

Pattern is 2 series per year, one in Summer, one in Winter. Because of Hammond's accident, series 9, which should have been the winter series 2006, was pushed to start January 2007, 10 was winter 2007 and so on.

Anyways, yeah, Sumemr and Winter so 2 series per.
 
So how many more episodes are there for season13? When will it end?
 
ok thanx guys! not many episodes in this series i recon, right?
 
7 in this (13th) series and i reckon probably another 7 in the winter (14th) series. slightly different to last years 6 in series 11 and 8 in series 12.
