I have been doing some family history research and I found these records. Unfortunately I don't speak German so I was wondering if someone could give me an overview of what these documents say. I'm concerned with the parts that mention the surname "Lungershausen". Thank you.

1716 is talking about Dr Joh. Jacob Lungershausen is moving from Jena to M?hlhausen to become superintendent (head of the churches in a county). It goes on about what stuff he did, for example ban dancing on a Sunday, get more church services held, bla bla bla more churchy stuff.

1722, a school is blessed, he still is superintendent. Some guy died, he did the sermon in his honor.

He dies March 25th, 1729.

He also did ban target practice on sundays ;(

More relevant from a family research POV is the fact that Dr. Joh. Jacob Lungershausen was a catholic.

Damn, you're right. :p

Thanks guys!!!
