My friends and I participated, and was surprised to see a finalgear car there! I don't post here too much but I had to comment. The car looked good and was pretty fast too, nice work, who are you? How did the build go? I would have stopped by but couldn't tell where you were and was slightly distracted

My team was #27, Boobie Prize Racing

Well done! Shows that consistency wins. Congratulations. It's "just" banger racing but you still gotta have some talent. ;)

What actually matters is the "Index of Effluency". The Lada won that :p

I have a hundred pictures of that car (and some of the finalgear car too I think) it was my favorite car in the whole event, just awesome. I was afraid to go near it for two reasons, it was too pretty to scratch, and would probably rip through our Nissan like it was tissue paper :) On the course they were never in the way and always gave room to pass (which we did.....OFTEN!)

Our pit was 30 feet or so away from Team Police Brutality and their pink caddy. If you saw that giant yellow pole with the strobe light ontop, we were next to that, it made it SO much easier to find home base on friday with all that damn fog. Congrats on the win.

And they're "just" $500 bangers, but you still need a small fortune to pay for it.

That $1500 prize (30,000 nickes) is about what we had into the entire event. We were fortunate that one of my teammates scored some free tires from Dunlop. But even then we would have been out what, $700 or $800 for tires? We had 8, only used 6.

I was thinking about attending just to watch, but ya it would be cool to drive. To be honest I don't think I have the time.
