Cars you want to see in Series 14

I would like to see some nice, normal, everyday-type cars like how they used to do before they turned the show into a visual form of that grunting noise that Tim Allen makes.

In my opinion, Top Gear is about automotive dreams, not about everyday cars. Maybe they could do some stuff on classic cars as they did it before on some rare occasions such as the 300SL Gullwing or the DB5 vs. the E-Type.

You mean superchargers! Koenigsegg don't use turbos.:)

Yea what I meant :p Its the Zenvo that has turbo :)

Edit: Also I would like to see the "Can you make a Renault Avantime as fast as a Lancer Evo" done again, but this time it would be "Can you make the Fiat Multipla look coo/betterl?" Might be impossible :p?

Oh and the Lexus LF-A ... but that will have to be for season 16 since production won't start on the LF-A for another year.

I'd like to see a little of each countries "in house" go fast domestics that we all can afford.

As Top Gear will be in South Africa I'm sure they've got a hot little Astra or Focus or 'Rolla.

Japan's Will VS V6 Corolla maybe.

Australia's F6 Typhoon or XR6 Turbo. I've been dying to see the Stig take one out on the UK track. They are avilable in the UK through specialist dealers.

I remember watching Top Gear as a kid in the 70's , When it was presented by William Wollard, Chris Goffey and Tony Mason. They used to test regular cars that the average person could buy new in the showrooms, with the odd exotic chucked in. It was interesting enough, but I think that format would not appeal today shame really..

I'd love to see some sort of test of the new 2010 model Land Rovers - Discovery 4 and Range Rover mainly, possibly the Range Rover Sport too.... Always like Clarksons Landy tests!

Somehow, a Reventon. I've just got to see it driven, from inside and out. The dash must be fun in operation.

Nah, they can always drive a prototype pre production car [like many car magazines have already]

Anything not reviewed on the top gear test track.

i never liked SSC and i will never EVER like this car, and poorly handled perhaps, but i'd like to see it on the Top Gear test lap at least, but just because it's the fastest supercar on earth.

Ferrari California is on my list too.
Porsche 9FF GT9 is maybe a little bit too old to test it but i'd really like to hear its wheels squealing on their track.
Lada Revolution - a magnificent... oh wait, not really what I meant.
Aston Martin One-77 - can't really say much but... 'oh i've got an erection' after this.

I want to see a Lamborghini Countach and a Ferrari Testarossa in the "Chest Hair Cheap Car Challenge". :p

Supercar-wise, I'd also opt for a review of the Mercedes AMG SLS or the Ferrari California. Being a bit of a Saab fan, I'd also like to see the Turbo-X and the new 9-5.

However, what I'd find even more fascinating would be an alteration of the cheap car challenge and the epic journey format, although I'm not quite sure if the following idea would even work. On the one hand, we've had alot of those challenges in which the guys have to buy really cheap cars and then - on the other hand - we've also had those epic supercar journeys like their search for the best driving road in Europe. What I'd find interesting now would be one of those epic journeys with cars that are neither modern supercars nor actually cheap, but in a realistic price range for many buyers. For - let's say - 20.000 to 30.000 pounds, you could buy everything from a classic sportscar like the Porsche 964 to a powerful modern day sedan like a used current BMW 330 or thelike. The reason I'm not quite sure about this idea myself is that it could be that with cars that aren't a heap of junk the challenges wouldn't be funny and without them being real supercars they wouldn't be that epic either, so it might be a difficult concept. It is just that too me those epic journeys some how always captured the sense of driving in a way no other feature did, which is why those are the ones that often inspire me to get in my car and drive somewhere just for the journey's sake. Last time I've checked the garage though, I didn't own a supercar, which is why I always wonder what those Top Gear journeys would be like with cars that I'd actually consider buying and could own for real.

Another interesting variation of this format would be a journey of that kind with supercar youngtimers like a Diablo, a Testarossa and thelike.
