wow! That was a great episode.
The romanian road is simply amazing and it was nice to see the sandero again
Bana seems to be a great guy, a real petrolhead. It's a shame that the track was so wet, I think he could have been at the top of the board.

Here's hoping the series continues in this tone :)

btw I want a Peoples palace of my own with tunnels underneath!!!:mrgreen::mrgreen:

I thought that was a really excellent episode. The Romania film was fantastic, beautiful cars, roads, scenery, filming etc- the jokes didn't seem forced at all (loved the gypsy jokes) and there were some truly exciting moments like the driving through the tunnels under the palace.
Guest fitted into the 'pretty good' category for me, and James' review was much more entertaining than the usual Clarksonslidesasupercarandmoansabouttechnology-fest.

9/10(Better than the entire of Series 13)

There will be tongues waggling over the gypsy comments I reckon

Loved it though. :D

this episode was brilliant, especially loved the look on James' face when he got hold of a real life Dacia Sandero.....for about 15 minutes

well...come to romania and visit transilvania, try to do it in gypsy free areas :))

This has got to be one of my favourite episodes so far. Crisis-inducing car porn, some absolutely classic silliness, and the return of our old friend the Sandero, if only briefly. 10/10 from me. Though now, of course, I may just have to revise my idea for Himself's 50th birthday present to renting something small and quick and going for a holiday in Romania...

Great episode, although i felt they cut a couple of minutes in the end, never really showed the guys driving on that road.

With hindsight James ought to have parked the Sandero behind the supercars

A fantastic start to the series and I bet it looks awesome in HD. Of course parts of it were scripted but James' reaction to the Sandero seemed genuine on both counts, and there were moments that genuinely appeared to be spontaneous (like that collision with another car).

But who cares about the scripted parts when it was obvious that they were enjoying themselves and the photography is so great. Well done chaps!

Meh, it was okey. It's obviously a lot more scripted and focused on random stuff instead of actual cars now. I mean, they showed the map of where they were going once and after that all you got to see was a bunch of gypsies.

BMW v Merc thing was the best bit hands down.

5/10

the Dacia Sandero
They killed it. WHHHHYYYYY
uh wait, now they have killed the lambo.

All his cars ruined.

great episode, glad Top Gear is back,

Limo test was good but felt abit lacking, news was funny and Eric Bana as great as a guest for once wish it was abit longer, be interesting to see a dry lap from him.

The roadtrip was good, not sure if it was as good as the Greatest Driving Road roadtrip but the cars were just as good if not better. They really do have one of the best jobs in the world (driving those cars in the tunnels :O ) loved the Dacia joke, shame what "happened" to the car, and suprised at the crash with the Lambo.

The last 5-10mins were epic though, driven the Stelvio Pass but wanting to try that road now, like other have said that helicopter pilot was craaaaazy, but those shots they got were incredible, cant wait for the HD to make some nice wallpapers from.

anyone know the app that Jezza was using in the tunnels?

8.5/10

GREAT episode. the dacia bit was too forced, but Bana was great as a guest, should have gotten a dry lap though, knew it was gonna be fast as hell when you saw him launch that shitty little car from the starting-line :) i give it 9/10 ..

OH MY GOD.

OH MY GOD.

THAT ROAD.

Also - that was an AMG S-Class. Who wants to see what the M division can do to that 7er?

I really didn't like it. I felt like, I was watching fifth gear. Yes, there were some funny bits but the whole film wasn't connected together in an logical way!! They spent 90% of the film searching for that road and when they finally found it, the film ends. WTF!? also none of the bits from the film had any sort of logical meaning to them, especially in the second part of the film. Jeremy says he's out of fuel, the next morning they race around the roads. James was hit by some random car, yet in the next shot he doesn't seem to care and just speeds with the rest. underground driving and noise measuring - completely pointless. I m greatly disappointed in this episode. Stig playing cards with James!? I mean, come on. Also cinematography is going downhill every other episode. I hate the lanes flares poping up all the time. Helicopter shots were pretty poor as well, especially comparing to the V12 Vantage review. They definitely can do better. I mean, they were doing better all the way till 10th season. After that, its going downhill for them :(

EDIT:
also, the vibrating seat in the bmw vs. amg review, drove me crazy!!! for the biggest car show in the world, those sort of mistakes are unacceptable.

Looked like a great piece of road.
Episode was ok, but could have been better.
Minus for no Clarkson beatbox!
Big plus for Dacia Sandero wrecking!

I'll score it a 7/10.

Great episode, although i felt they cut a couple of minutes in the end, never really showed the guys driving on that road.

There's ~2 min missing in the 700mb rip (at least in the one i've downloaded) compared to the 720p rip.
