To be fair, they never said "in the year 2000". I suppose in the year 4000 the world may look like that altough judging by how little we have changed in the last two thousand years, I suspect the videos vision of "bringing people together for mutual understanding" will remain a utopia forever. I would like to be able to go in a time capsule and live a year in the late 50's, when in the future, everything was possible.

Well, we already do have most of the first quarter of the movie, the rest is either really unnecessary or is possible today but doesn't have consumer acceptance like self-driving automobiles.

I liked the nuclear reactor tunnel digger though, nothing like driving through a tube of highly irradiated stone slowly killing you everyday.
