Windows 7, so who's tried it?

Hmm...having a strange issue with programs spontaneously closing...happened to my girlfriend a day or two ago (just thought she was crazy) but it happaned to me, today.
 
My system keeps waking up around 9:30 PM every night. Event logs show an update of the time via the internet. I can turn off the auto update of the time but I shouldn't have to. It also wakes up if WMC updates.
 
Ugh...I don't know what I did, but now Windows Photo Viewer has a yellow-y background which is making all photos have a strange sephia tone.
 
It's because Windows Update have downloaded a new colour profile for your screen (if you go to Devices and Printers your screen should say the name of your screen instead of Generic PnP monitor) so if you restore the original colour profile or delete the new and faulty one you'll get correct colours back.

Do you by chance have a Samsung monitor?
 
Ugh, that's BS. There is no such thing as a generic monitor profile. The difference between it and a properly calibrated monitor is massive, especially in the blues.
 
Microsoft does not concern themselves with your elitist views on colour management :p

That is incredibly annoying :blink:
 
It's the special theme that came with the Japanese version Win7 Ultimate. I don't find it that annoying, only the "chin" when it closes a window might get annoying.

i can vouch that it in infact the full, official theme. i'm using it too.

Nice. I tried Googling "Madobe Nanami theme", but couldn't find it.
 
The theme maker made a mistake. When you plug in a USB device, it says ??????????? and when you unplug it says ??????? those two are swapped.

My color issue was fixed by jst poking aorund in the color profiles settings...even without changing anything, the problem went away.

I just had another instance, though, of programs spontaneously closing...
