Nice, check the following site:

http://www.skiddmark.com/the-stig-gets-his-hands-on-the-lfa/

Is that X6 being driven into the studio? Why oh why?

From the Mole on the Top Gear site:

We?ve got Jeremy, Richard and James taking over an art gallery, we?ve got the Lexus LF-A, we?ve got Jeremy?s cost-effective test of the BMW X6 and we?ve got possibly the most epic and amazing special Top Gear has ever made as the boys attempt to get from the heart of the Bolivia rain forest to the coastline of Chile in three 4?4s they bought from the local version of Auto Trader. Trust us, that one will really be worth a watch.

This is the first time ever that a series of Top Gear continued onto the new year, the autumn series usually ends around Christmas time.

If Wikipedia is to be trusted, then we're going to have a double-act as SIARPC, and both of them driving the Suzuki Liana.

Martin Brundle and Crazy Dave Coulthard! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11!!!!1one

^ Interesting, this is supposed to be the ?we?ve got no budget for this show? show, so that makes sense.
BBC employees so maybe no extra fees.
.. and why am I putting on spoilers, in the spoiler section? :p

Don't think that Wikipedia can be trusted on this one as the SIARPC for this episode is the singer Seasick Steve.

Wiki -- according to Radio Times, at least -- is wrong.

Radio Times said:
In the final episode of the series, Jeremy Clarkson makes a film about the BMW X6 and ends up conducting one of the most expensive road tests in Top Gear history. James May drives the new Vauxhall Insignia VXR, accompanied by Margaret Calvert, the designer of Britain's road signs; and Richard Hammond tests the 340,000 pound Lexus supercar on the Top Gear track. The boys then try out the latest in electric personal transport in the studio, and the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car is blues musician Seasick Steve.
