I get eye comments a lot.

I think they look so big because I'm horribly short-sighted, when I take my glasses off, I struggle to see the camera and tend to open them wider than usual.

That's the reason given for the longing, lonely, lost look of the eyes of Hans Albers, a german actor most famous for playing homesick sailors in the 1940 and 50s, too.

(one of his films was banned by the Nazis because, according to G?ring, "the constant depiction of drunken sailors is a disgrace to germany's navy".)

That's gotta be a rather old photo though, the army switched from plain greens to the digital CADPAT in the early 2000's

sidenote: I have one of those hats. My dad brought home a couple extras for me and my brother one time. ^_^
