And as anyone who has ever washed their car and come out the next morning to find a trail of footprints over the bonnet, roof and bootlid will tell you any chance to do that to a cat has to be taken. And I'm a cat owner.

Yeah, but, it was probably from the second story, if you did that from higher up you'd probably put a nice big dent in your car. On second thought, pop the dent out, still worth it.
