gonna get a new lens soon - sigma 18-50mm or tamron 17-50mm?

i just got the straight 17-50mm f2.8 without the VC, i also only hired the non IS 70-200mm canon because the IS really wasnt going to help when im shooting moving targets. i just need the high shutter speeds and shaky hands usually arent an issue. its just the low light focusing....my camera is terrible.
