It seems you've achieved something noteworthy - getting the rear wheels to not look like they've sunken beneath the car. Seems like an awfully tough trick on this particular coupe. I feel too many E92-owners have neglected proper ET-alignment and spacer use, ending up with not only a saggy bottom, but something dragged along on Mentos-sized wheels.

Anyway, bloody nice cars. The 335i is one of the few BMWs I'd buy with my own money (if I had enough), and the wheels look fantastic btw, and the Viper is... well, a Viper :D

Just a little update.
Like Jupix I was on the airstrip too and did two runs with my BMW. I was a little skeptical about it as I've had some little issues with my tune at its current state. It's really hard to figure correct settings for a long full throttle run like this when you have never done it before with the car.
Well, as expected the car didn't run very well and the end speed was 257 km/h at 1500 m on both runs. The quarter mile was even worse at around 13.9 s with a horrible start and short shifting. An LSD would be really nice.
The end speed doesn't sound that bad when you consider that the Viper did 260 km/h at its best and my old E46 330Ci did 212 km/h... but still I'm not happy with it.
Hopefully I'll get the problems sorted during the summer and be able to do a clear run in the autumn. The Procede will probably take pretty significant leaps too during the upcoming weeks. I'm not expecting to go much faster but a cleaner running car with 260 km/h end speed would be a good target to aim at.

I finally managed to take some pics of the other car. Spent three days polishing it so it's quite shiny now. Actually it was quite shiny before the polishing also so it was just waste of time.
It had the three piece hardtop on.
All the blind people can leave now.

After that I took some crappy pics without the top. It already had some dust on at this point as I was offroading on the first couple of pics. It's actually quite good offroad because it has a limited slip diff. The downside is there's no hill descent control. Maybe the newer models have it as they come with door handles and all.

So, what do you think? Pretty nice Volvo, eh? It's a V70 so it's quite serious business.
There's also a wheelbarrow with full aluminum bodywork. Don't know which one I prefer.

The Viper... Holy fuck it's loud with the top on. The thing that always pops in my mind on the redline is balls. So it turns people gay. The other downside is that I'm deaf now.

New flipping rear plate bracket is on its way. A really nice guy from the pistonheads forum gave it to me.

No, not because of that as it almost always has the front plate on. I just forgot to put it back on yesterday after the polishing. The bracket is a snap on so it takes around three seconds to put it on.
It looks better without the plate so it's quite fortunate I forgot to put it back for the photos. ;)

I happened to wander upon this thread again. I just realized how infinitely hawt that Viper's ass is.

I'll probably need to make it my desktop background so I can ogle it some more. :p
