Personally being british i hop that jenson button wins again as lewis is somewhat arrogant at times and is still young with a lot to learn furthermore i think that sebastian vettel is a contender unlike shumacher but i back the mclaren drivers. :D

Punctuation fail.

While this topic is ridiculous, I'm still baffled by how 'established members' negrep people with 4 posts. Come on! They don't know anything about the forums...

I don't think this poor chap's returning. Every thread he's started or been in, he's been ripped on. I don't think he's very old.

Harsh.

Yes i would agree with that im glad u guys make newcomers feel welcome and im 18 signed up 2 days ago and find it daft that the whole point of his forum is people's love of cars, sorry my mistake peoples love of correct grammer! My grammer may not be up to a high enough standard for you guys as i am not the type of person who spends al that much time reading or even having orgasms over the perfection of the words i type and the punctuation i use i tend to spend more time socialising and having fun rather than perhaps "being a total knob" slating the new guy because i have nothing better to do. do people see where i am coming from? (thats a rhetorical interoggative XD)

Here's a well-meant hint: While you're typing you most likely know what you want to say. Others reading your text do not. Capitalizing words, adding punctuation, keeping sentences structured, etc. all help others understand what you want to say. Prepare to be misunderstood, be it accidentally or on purpose.

Get a decent browser with built-in spell checking capabilities for example, that way you won't have to spend hours proofreading a few sentences.

thankyou i understand, nevertheless people nowerdays adapt to the extent where as they can understand texting language, abrieviated words and genrally badly wrote sentences, therfore i am quite certain that people dont have anything better to do than argue about sentences they can clearly understand. (sorry if there are any errors a plead for forgivness :p) (also i have no problems with people just trying to express there opinions and thoughts without judgeing people by there spelling and grammer)

He is the product of the present British Educational system. Totally fucked up in the late 1970s through to now - not his fault. The government introduced "targets" then got measures then made the measures better and better every year until we now almost have the most intelligent and well educated population in the world. ...

This is of course bollocks, schools got bigger and bigger, playing fields were sold off, Grammar schools closed, Technical High Schools closed leaving everyone going to Comprehensives to learn 'Media Studies' at university.

Can not read, write or add up - no matter.

Signed - grumpy old geezer. ...

Oh, that left the Public Schools (British Version not American) where the children of the well off go - thus making social mobility impossible for the vast majority.

you misspelled made my friend :p and i believe the english language has evolved, in the future or perhaps even at present we are barely an english nation as the amount of immigrants or the ratio of english to non english residents in our country make us more "englistanian." My point being how exactly can we have a specific way of writing when there are all these accents, languages, slangs and formats lurking around?
